“They Didn’t Ask So I Didn’t Say”

The 2020 Batsford Prize theme was “Our Planet”. This was an open brief, and I decided to use this opportunity to create awareness on the global issue of Human and Sex Trafficking. I think one of the misconceptions is that things like this only happen in movies, or in countries far away. This happens everywhere and even here in the UK every single day, adults and children are transported and exploited all over the world. After this project I decided to undertake training and volunteer at a local charity that supports women in sexual exploitation.
